Is Your GenTrax Generator's Engine Not Starting?

We have put together a quick guide below on common things you can check to try and troubleshoot the issue and get your genny up and running without having to reach out to our team and await a response. 

Issue - Engine Won't Start, Low Engine Output, Engine runs erratically 

Probable Causes:  

1. No oil/Low oil level
2. Loose spark plug
3. Damaged gasket
4. Losse cylinder head bolt
5. No fuel was supplied to the combustion chamber
6. Poor spark
7. Wrong-grade fuel used, no fuel in the tank

How To Fix Issue: 

1. Fill the sump with the correct oil
2. Tighten spark plug
3. Replace gasket
4. Tighten bolt
5. Open the fuel tap, Clean the tank, Clean the fuel line
6. Replace the spark plug, Remove carbon or dry spark plug
7. Check the grade of fuel used, and fill the tank with the correct grade of fuel.
